Jamie Foxx is gearing up to portray Prentice Earl Sanders in the forthcoming movie version of “The Zebra Murders: A Season of Killing, Racial Madness, and Civil Rights”. The film is a real-life story that happened in San Francisco in the early 1970’s and involved racial killings. DreamWorks/Paramount will distribute the movie.

Jamie Foxx received a royal treatment during his stage at the United Arab Emirates for the shooting of his latest movie ‘The Kingdom’. The actor, who joined co-stars Chris Cooper, Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman in the capital Abu Dhabi for the Middle Eastern action thriller, was specially given a treatment usually reserved for top politicians and members of the royal family - including a 25-strong armed guard, a personal food taster and his own team of paramedics, who followed his every move. Director Peter Berg told OK! magazine, "They gave him their highest level of protection - what they would offer a visiting president."

Jamie Foxx , Hilary Swank, Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lopez were some of the celebrities enlisted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to give $1.2 million in grants to filming schools and nonprofit groups during a ceremony Thursday at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Close to his arrival to the stage, Foxx greeted shouting, all the Leos in the place, refeering to J.Lo and Hilary. And then, then presented a $50,000 grant to Josh Brolin on behalf of FilmAid International.
